Combination lighting works well together

The illusion of space is created by the light that is reflected in a room. By this logic, the brighter the room, the bigger it seems. Therefore, painting rooms in dark colors will be something to avoid, if you are looking to create an illusion of a large room. Lighting is vital for any room or office or space, and we should always look for ways to brighten up the room, as bright, airy and cheerful rooms as positively impacts everyone in the area or space. 

Kitchen lighting

Kitchen is the heart of the house and the lighting that we select for the room should be making it seem large, airy, and comfortable. In case of ample natural light, methods should be used to amplify the natural light during the day. However, if that’s not an option, adding a lot of bright lights and lamps should be the agenda. If the kitchen has a large island then having kitchen pendant lighting is one to ensure that everything is well lit. One of the best features ofthe pendant light is the fact they seem to enlarge an enclosed space and thus, they are good for small rooms and houses. They are great when placed over the counter or the kitchen island, as they give concentrated light.

Modern pendant lighting has its own set of good and bad. Unfortunately, many people still associate this design with a retro look and feel that it is outdated; also, it is difficult to get adequate lighting from just this type of lighting. There has to be a combination of lighting to avoid dark corners; adding track lighting to the room along with other lights may work. It is always a good idea to have different types of lamps and lightings in a room and make the best out of the natural light available.
